Once we've finished eating our lunch, we wait around for the check while making small talk. Last month I thought she would never speak to me again but here we are. She is so unpredictable but I'm not complaining. Although Vegas is known for impulsive marriages, I never imagined we'd get married here. I only brought her here for some alone time before we have to get back to reality and take care of the kids. I've spent so much time with the kids the last couple of months. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade it for the world. But every parent can't wait for a moment alone, especially when they get to share it with their significant other.
My mind continues to wander as I listen to Madison tell me about her childhood memories. I could sit here all day listening to her talk. She
