Chapter 9Judith was enjoying the warm climate in Cancun and the crystal white beaches that teased her freshly manicured nails. Her present accommodations were on the hotel strip where she planned to stay until she knew she was in the clear. Later, perhaps she'd buy a villa overlooking the Caribbean. For the moment, she needed to be on guard in case she needed to switch locations according to the plans she had first formed when blackmailing JYB Commercial Contractors.
Judith knew Sydney was the type of person to worry about her. It was time she called with a lie in mind to sidetrack and distance their relationship.
