Chapter 14Sydney Jones was busy with last-minute details for the grand opening. She'd hired a paralegal, Joan Maddox, to join Sarah Levins, her new assistant. She was well pleased with Sarah's organizational skills and the follow-up for their big day.
“Sarah,” asked Sydney. “How's the catering for our event proceeding?”
“Everything is lined up exactly as we planned. The caterer is finalizing the set up one hour before the event begins. The flowers are ordered and will be placed along the buffet table. The podium will be positioned for the best focal point for welcoming your esteemed guests.”
“Sounds like everything is a go,” said Sydney. “Thank you.”
“You're welcome,” she said.
Sydney was excited everything was falling in place. She was especially delighted that Dr. Routh was coming.
