“Enjoy. Get used to this fine cuisine, because you’re going to be having a lot of it,” the corrections officer said to Kyle.
Both Stewart and Kyle were denied bail given not only the serious nature of the crime, but the fact that the judge reviewed them as flight risks. Stewart was adjusting to prison and remained calm. Kyle, on the other hand, cried himself to sleep every night. He skipped meals and would spend the entire day curled up in the fetal position on his bed. The guards would let Kyle out to exercise in a cage one hour every day. He would walk in circles like a caged animal and do some pushups and jumping jacks.
