“Flush, flush, flush!” screamed one inmate.
The inmates on the entire block started to flush their toilets. The water started to run out of the cells on the top floors and spilled down onto the first floor.
“Fire in the hole,” yelled another inmate as he threw toilet paper engulfed in flames onto the first floor.
The inmates started to throw as much stuff out of their cells as possible. The first floor was covered with toilet paper, mattresses, magazines, and anything the inmates could throw. Within a ten-minute window, four blocks within the cells were flooded.
The alarm sounded in the prison as the officers approached the cells.
“Get the CERT unit,” yelled the captain. The CERT unit was the Correctional Emergency Response Team. It consisted of officers trained to deal with cell
