Lucian's POV
The sky above the temple had changed from what it used to be. It was always huge and open, making me feel safe and clear-headed. Tonight, the sky was breaking up, shredding like a piece of torn silk, coming apart bit by bit.
I was in the middle of the temple, feeling tense and knowing something was very wrong. The air felt heavy and full of something I could hardly understand. I could sense this change in my bones.
