Chapter 021 Emilia's POV Like a beast howling in agony, the wind ripped through the ruins. In the center of the ancient Crimson Temple, I stood. Old blood had seeped into the crevices of the stones beneath my boots. Even though the moon wasn't yet full, it was red and low in the sky, giving everything an odd, gloomy glow. The volume of my heartbeat nearly drowned out the rumblings around me. Dozens of wolves I didn't know, from packs that had long been broken and lives that had been ruined by those now hunting me, were watching, and I could feel them. Yet here they were.
