Emilia's POV
I didn't expect to find a bone mask when I looked in Eira's toy chest.
I didn't expect to find anything except her blanket, which she used to carry everywhere when she was little. It was hidden inside the chest. I knew it for sure.
Still, as I touched the toys and dolls, I got a strange feeling. The atmosphere in the room became heavier as if I had woken something that was sleeping.
I hesitated.
But the blanket was necessary.
I cleared away some old stuffed animals, ribbons that were all knotted, and a few forgotten action figures. It was found tucked in between a porcelain doll and a faded pink ribbon.
