Lucian's POV
I could sense the echo returning to me. It became louder, as if a thousand people were screaming inside me, trying to get out. My head felt like it was being squeezed by a strong force, touching every part of my body. The thing I had tried to control for so long was now burning out of control.
I tripped, and my breath became stuck in my throat. The world appeared to be moving around me. I felt my legs trembling and my hands getting cold as the darkness in my mind tried to take over.
I was unable to stop it. I had to tell someone about it.
"Lucian!" Nikolas' voice was clear and urgent, showing how scared he was. However, his words didn't make any difference to me. The echo was much louder than anything he could say.
The wolves stood still, their eyes open wide
