“Let’s continue.” said Sameer and stood up. He held out a hand to Jace who gratefully let Sameer pull him up.
“Why did they attack us in a pack?” asked Jace. “I never witnessed anything like this in the sim room.”
“That’s because they were probably hungry.” said Sameer and slowly padded ahead.
“You think there’s more?” asked Jace. He reached for the miniature quiver in his pocket and commanded it to enlarge itself and placed it on his back. “We were almost overpowered back there.”
“I’m not sure.” he said and slowly marched ahead. Jace realized that this was his cue to stop talking and obliged.
