They reached the spiraled building in record time. They rushed in and saw the guard gesture them to use the elevator. Grace was surprised that she was allowed to enter.
They reached the Wesley floor and made their way to Alba’s office through the swarm of scientists.
“Sorry.” said Grace as she bumped into one of the men in white coat and made him drop his test tube.
Jace entered Alba’s office and saw that she was sitting behind her desk. He walked towards the desk and leaned on it. “How’s my brother?”
“I called you to speak to you about it.” said Alba. “It’s a bit of a dilemma for us.”
“What do you mean?” said Jace and straightened himself. He could see Alba’s body stifen and then relax a she sighed.
“Jonathan was preserved because he was on the verge of dying.”
