Jace walked out of the room and realized that his brother hadn’t arranged for his transportation. He didn’t want to disturb his brother who seemed to be planning something big and decided to find Esme. It didn’t take long for Jace to find her room as it was right next to the elevator. He knocked on the door three times and waited for it to open. “In a minute.” called out a voice from the inside and after a few moments, the door opened. On the other side stood Esme, her hair messy. She was rubbing her eyes as she said, “Did the Chief send you here?” “Sorry for disturbing you.
