“So, Ganaway’s being released today?” Black asked.
We were sitting in the office he shared with Emmy on the executive floor, together with Dan, Knox, and Kellan. Ford had called me an hour ago with the news about Ganaway, as well as reporting that a judge had signed off on a search warrant for Alton Brand’s home in the suburbs. Ford planned to take Brand in for questioning while his property was being searched.
“They’re finishing up the paperwork right now. Ganaway should be out this afternoon.”
Dan took a sip of her coffee. “I won’t tell Fen until he’s actually out, just in case they manage to f**k things up at the last minute, but I’ll arrange for transport.”
“Transport to where?” Emmy asked. “Bradley gutted the Ganaways’ bathroom, and as far as I know, he’s still waiting
