Damn Instructor

Seraphina said nervously, “W-what do you mean? I can smell it—clearly it’s your post-training sweat. None of you have showered yet!” Her words successfully reminded Alex and Leo. “Damn it, I was so exhausted I forgot about showering. I’m going first!” Alex yanked his training T-shirt off over his head, grabbed a towel, and headed straight for the bathroom. “You guys playing Honor?” Leo asked lazily as he picked up his phone. Derek didn’t answer. The crease between his brows remained. His expression was dark, his peripheral vision lingering on Seraphina as if lost in thought. Her attempt to change the subject clearly hadn’t worked on him. Unaware of this, Seraphina smiled and waved her hand. “I don’t know how to play.” “Alright then.” Leo opened the game. With a loud “TIMI,” he started playing on his own. Derek lit a cigarette and walked over to the speaker, putting on Michael Bublé’s Me and Mrs. Jones. The slow jazz rhythm made Seraphina unconsciously relax. Her stiff body gradually loosened, and she began to feel drowsy. After waiting for them to finish showering one by one, she seized the moment when Derek stepped out to take a phone call. She hurried into the bathroom and locked the door. She worked fast, removing her binder and wig. In an instant, her delicate features and graceful figure were exposed. While listening carefully for any movement outside, she stepped into the shower, letting the warm water wash over her body. But somehow, the longer she stood there, the stronger the feeling became—that someone was watching her. The gaze felt scorching, as if it were burning through her. Her heart raced. She quickly rinsed her hair, rubbed her eyes, and looked up. “Ah!” Seraphina screamed in terror. Derek was leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed, wearing a wicked smile. “So… turns out you’re a woman after all.” His voice was low and husky, carrying a dangerous magnetism, as if it violated her from a distance alone. “D-don’t come closer.” Seraphina turned the showerhead on him. Instead, Derek spread his arms arrogantly, letting the water strike his tall, solid, pale body. He was broad-shouldered and powerfully built, every inch of him radiating raw masculine tension. Like a storm cloud pressing down on a city, he advanced on her relentlessly. Seraphina’s legs immediately went weak. With a low growl, Derek wrapped an arm around her and shoved her against the wall. Both hands braced beside her, trapping her against his chest. His burning gaze roamed boldly over her body. “W-what are you trying to do?” Seraphina clutched her chest, staring at him in fear. Derek grabbed her chin, his dark eyes filled with desire. “Don’t play dumb.” “H-help—mm!” A brutal kiss crashed down on her, swallowing her breath and cries without mercy. “Don’t! Please!” Forgetting there were two others outside, she cried out instinctively—only to be flipped over the next second with a startled scream. One of Derek’s arms locked her in place while the other gripped her throat. He smiled maliciously. “Almost let you fool me. Looks like you need a proper punishment.” Realizing what he intended, Seraphina screamed with all her strength. “No! Help!” … “Don’t… don’t!” Seraphina jolted upright in bed, sweat beading across her forehead. After catching her breath, she looked around the dorm, dimly lit by moonlight through the window. Only when she saw Derek sleeping in the neighboring bed did she finally calm down. So it had all been a dream… In reality, her shower had gone smoothly. She’d just been too tense and ended up having a nightmare. “Damn it, Lucas!” Alex snapped awake angrily. “Did you get sleep paralysis or something? Dream of getting screwed by a ghost?” “S-sorry,” Seraphina said apologetically. “I had a nightmare.” “Tch. Shut up, all of you!” Derek’s shout woke Leo, who didn’t dare complain. The next morning, Seraphina woke early. As she sat up, her wig slipped off. Panicked, she looked around like she’d been electrocuted. Thankfully, all three of them were sleeping like logs. She let out a long breath, feeling like her heart would overload if this continued. She hurriedly put the wig back on and, while they were still asleep, went to change her sanitary pad. Same routine—wrap the used one in a bag, stuff it into her pocket, and find a chance to throw it away in the big trash bin outside. After she finished and stepped out of the restroom, she ran straight into Derek, who was putting on his instructor uniform. Last night’s nightmare was still vivid. Seeing him made her instinctively nervous. Derek buckled his belt and glanced sideways at her. “What took you so long in there?” Clearly, he’d been awake too, waiting to wash up. “Uh… constipation,” Seraphina muttered, avoiding his sharp gaze. “First thing in the morning and you’re already dropping gas bombs.” Annoyed, Derek walked toward the bathroom. Just as Seraphina hurried past him, her wig accidentally caught on his button. “Ah!” She was forced backward, her head pressing against his hard chest, both hands clutching her hair desperately. “Tch. Let go. I’ll fix it.” Derek had no choice but to steady her with one hand while freeing the tangled strands with the other. “N-no! Don’t!” Seraphina clutched even tighter. If she let go, the wig would fall off. “Bro, what are you two doing first thing in the morning—making out?” Alex shuffled out in nothing but underwear, scratching himself sleepily. Taking advantage of Derek’s distraction, Seraphina yanked herself free and ran. Derek looked down to find a small lock of hair still stuck to his button. He didn’t bother chasing her and went into the bathroom. “Move! Who told you to move?!” On the field, Derek’s commanding roar carried overwhelming pressure, making even students from other classes freeze. Even the older instructors conceded to him. Seraphina felt better than yesterday—at least her stomach no longer hurt. She followed orders obediently. Which only made her seem easier to bully. Derek strolled over and suddenly removed her cap. She instinctively reached for it. His brows knit. “Before moving, what are you supposed to do?” “R-report…” “Too late.” His tone was cold. “Hands down. Along your seams. How did I teach you?” Biting her lip, Seraphina slowly lowered her hands. Derek studied the top of her head closely. That morning’s strand of hair still bothered him. Not to mention how unnatural the texture had felt—and how she hadn’t reacted at all when it was pulled. He raised his hand to check her roots more carefully. “Report!” Seraphina snatched the cap back and put it on. “Instructor… please just punish me.” Derek exhaled sharply, clasped his hands behind his back, and said coldly, “Lucas, step out. One hundred squats.” “Yes!” Alex and Leo could only glance at her, silently mourning. Derek stood beside her, watching her go up and down. The memory of her soft body that morning lingered in his palm. The more he thought about it, the more suspicious he became. Training finally ended at five in the evening. Seraphina now fully understood what Alex had meant. Derek truly treated them like they weren’t human. She wished she could drag him into training and see how arrogant he’d be then. But that was impossible—and she couldn’t imagine him ever looking humble. At dinner, Seraphina declined Alex’s invitation and ate with Lu Yiran instead. Right now, she only felt relaxed around Lu Yiran. Afterward, they walked back together and split at the second-floor stairwell. She headed for the dorm, planning to shower and sleep early. At the door, she ran into Alex and Leo, each carrying a bag. “Where are you going?” she asked. Alex spat. “That damn plumber messed up checking the pipes. The whole dorm building’s out of water. Everyone has to use the public bathhouse tonight.” “P-public bathhouse?!” Seraphina froze. Leo explained, “You’re from the south, right? It’s the kind with no partitions. Full honesty.” Alex checked his watch. “We’ve gotta be back before curfew. You coming? We can wait.” Seraphina waved hard, about to refuse—when she spotted Derek returning from dinner. He was still in his instructor uniform. Clearly, he hadn’t showered yet either. Seeing them in the hallway, he said sternly, “What are you three chatting about out here?”
