"Father, I would like you to meet Josephine Emma Knightly. I named her after our mother." Julian carries Emma into his lap, she immediately snuggles in his chest and shyly hides her face from her grandfather that she sees for the first time.
Beta Knightly swallows the lump on his throat and holds his emotion, seeing his first grandchild. Emma looks like her aunt Jade and his mate, Josephine. It is hard to imagine that he lost many years of this time with his children.
"Hello, Emma!" Beta Knightly said softly to his granddaughter.
"Say hello, love," Julian told his daughter. Emma keeps her face in her father's chest and shyly glance at her grandfather the shake her head. Julian look at his father with a small smile. "She's very shy in meeting someone for the first time."
