After a while, Cordelia looked out of the window when Adeline told her that she was going. She heard a car ignition and ran out, only to see Adeline entering the ferari which she believes belongs to her so-called friends.
Cordelia’s heart was still racing as she drove, her mind swirling with anxiety. Although she was relieved to hear Adeline’s voice on the phone, she couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. She felt Adeline was being too trusting, especially with people she barely knew.
She watched as Adeline climbed into the Ferrari and felt a pang of worry. What if something was wrong? Cordelia’s instincts were screaming at her to follow the car.
