The past two days had been a whirlwind of confusion and frustration. Adeline had been absent from work, and no one seemed to know where she was. I had tried calling her multiple times, but her phone went straight to voicemail every time.
For the past two days, Adeline had been conspicuously absent from work, and despite my numerous attempts to reach her, she had remained elusive. I had tried calling her multiple times, only to be met with the frustrating sound her leading to voicemails.
I even left some messages on the voice mail for her to call me back, but this lady never did.
