Chapter Five, Destined to keep running into each other. SCOTT'S POV I stood at the back of the church idly, watching as my distant cousin, Tommy, said his vows to his bride, Betty. I couldn't help but feel a bit envious of their happiness. It seemed like everyone was finding love these days, while I was stuck in my misery. But there was a reason for it,a reason I couldn't tell anyone. As the ceremony ended, I noticed a familiar face across the room. It was Adeline, the girl I had dropped off a few days ago. Rain goddess. I chuckled. I didn't know whether to talk to her or not so I just gave her a wave, and she smiled and walked over to me. She looked pretty in the pink chief maid of honor gown that she wore "Hi," she said. "Fancy seeing you here." "I know, right?" I said, grinning. "I didn't realize you knew my cousin." "Oh, I do," she said. "I'm actually a best friend to the bride ,Betty." She gestured to the bride, who was surrounded by family and friends. "I guess we're both here with friends of the happy couple." "That's quite the coincidence," I said. "How have you been?" "I've been well," Adeline said "And yourself?" she asked. "How is life as a CEO ?Must be Fancy." "Nah! Not fancy as you think , you know, it's just normal,"I said. "Work excessively thinking of ways to grow the company, and trying to find the time for a little fun." I paused, and then added, "Though I suppose I should start by finding the time to meet more people." "Well, you're off to a good start," Adeline said, smiling too wide "After all, you're meeting me again." "You're not wrong there," I said, chuckling. "I must be doing something right." "Or maybe it's just fate," she chipped in her tone teasing. "Maybe we're destined to keep running into each other." "You know, you might be onto something," I said, his eyes twinkling. "It's almost like the universe is trying to tell us something." "If that's the case, we'd better pay attention," she said. "We wouldn't want to miss out on whatever message the universe is trying to send us." I laughed. "You're definitely right about that." I paused, then added, "So, I guess we'd better make the most of it, right?" "Absolutely," she said. "Do you want to go somewhere else?" She asked glaring hard at me,her eyes were so beautiful. "Hell, yes" I responded smiling "Come with me," Adeline said, grabbing my hand and leading me out of the reception hall. "I know the perfect place to go." "Where are we going?" I asked, feeling a tingle of anticipation. "Just trust me," she said, smiling mysteriously. She led me down the street, and then turned into a small alley. At the end of the alley, she stopped in front of a door, which she opened with a key. "After you," she said, gesturing for me to enter. I stepped inside, and my jaw dropped. It was like stepping into a fairytale. The room was lit with thousands of tiny lights, and there was a soft glow emanating from everywhere. Vines grew up the walls, and there was a faint scent of flowers in the air. "Where are we?" I asked, awestruck. "This is a secret place I found a few months ago," she said. "I come here when I need to get away from everything. It's like another world, isn't it?" "It's beautiful," I said, taking it all in. "Thank you for bringing me here." She smiled. "You're welcome. Now, let's get some drinks." There was a bar in the corner, and she poured us each a glass of Martini. "To new beginnings," she said, raising her glass. "To new beginnings," I said, clinking my glass against hers. We both took a sip, and then Adeline led me over to a comfy-looking couch. "Let's just relax for a bit," she said, sinking into the cushions. "We can talk about whatever you want." "How about we just talk about nothing?" I said, smiling. "Sometimes, it's nice to just sit and not say anything, just look into each other eyes and let our eyes do the talking" There was absolute silence,we just kept staring at each other. I could feel the tension in the room. Something in me told me to kiss her at that moment, but at the same time I didn't want to ruin this moment, but shockingly she stood from the sofa staggering,I quickly caught her before she fell and accidentally injured herself. Our eyes locked as we were caught up in a compromising position, she held my neck with her left hand and placed my right hand on her butt, they felt so soft and right. She kissed me softly on the lips. The kiss was so magical. Her thin lip pressing against mine slowly but intentionally,I kissed her back. I then kissed her neck slowly, she let out a moan. Damn. That was one hell of a sexy moan. I unzipped her dress and watched it fall to the floor,my lips from her neck to her breast and I sucked them like a baby. She wanted to unbutton my shirt but I stopped her . " Are you sure this is right?" I asked her. She nodded, unbuttoning my shirt successfully. Within few minutes of Making out,I was already horny and was ready for some s*x. And it happened,I got on top of her and thrusted my full length in her her banging her so hard her legs were shaking. She kept begging for me to take it easy on her but I didn't listen to her. I needed to release the tension I was feeling and I finally did. s**t! We fell on the sofa lying beside each other, Breathing heavily. This was the best s*x ever. "Can I ask you something?" She said, "Yes,you can" "Are you the guy at the masked party?" I blinked twice, before I could say anything else by phone rang. It was from Rosalie y
