As the wedding rehearsal drew to a close, the venue buzzed with chatter and laughter as guests began to gather their belongings and prepare to head home. Tables were cleared, chairs stacked, and decorations carefully packed away as the evening wound down.
Adeline found herself caught up in a whirlwind of activity, helping to coordinate the cleanup efforts alongside the other members of the wedding party. She stole glances at William whenever she could, feeling a warmth spreading through her chest at the sight of him.
