I hadn't replied to Archer's message yet when I received a call from Courtney, which I quickly answered.
"Hey! Are we going?" she asked excitedly.
Even though I didn’t know what or where we were going, I had a feeling Archer had invited her as well.
"I still need to ask for permission—"
"Oh, come on! You can pass as a model child awardee now! I'll ask Mrs. Heidy for you! And besides, I think Harrison will also be there. Some businessmen are coming, so he's probably going too! You know Archer's family right?"
I smiled and looked at the dryer when it beeped.
"Hey, turn on your video. I want to show you something."
I followed her request and placed my phone on the side so I could attend to the dryer.
