“Stand there, love, and I’m going to take a picture of you,” Dylan said with a grin, lifting his camera. I laughed, posing against the sunlit waves as they lapped softly at the shore behind me. With each snap of the camera, I could feel his gaze on me—appreciative, warm, fully present. After a while, we switched. I grabbed the camera, snapping shots of him with the sunset glow across his face. “Look at you, so handsome!” I teased, making him a little bashful. “Come here,” he said, motioning for me to join him. “Let’s set this on the tripod so we can get a few together.” We played around, striking silly poses and then taking some close-up shots, laughing at each one.
