Myra

Gerald's POV I was still in shock at what I was witnessing when she suddenly walked forward, opened my zipper, and took hold of me with her pretty little fingers. I immediately got hard "f**k!" I yelled as I flung her hand away and closed my zipper. There was no way I was going to let her proceed with whatever 'serving' she was planning to do. It was written all over her face that she was unwilling. Besides this was someone else's wife, I don't do married women no matter how tempted I get, I would rather have blue balls. Trying to control my emotions, which were now raging, was challenging. This whole mate situation was proving itself to be no joke. While still trying to process what had just happened, I failed to notice that she was trembling on the floor. I ran my fingers through my hair and took a deep breath, attempting to calm myself down. Damn it! Could someone explain to me what the hell was going on here? I growled inwardly feeling a strong urge to hit something, anything, just to release some of the tension. Of course, I wasn't really asking anyone in particular since I was clearly talking in my mind. However, much to my surprise, I received a response. It made me pause a little. If it was a male voice, I would have easily assumed Lucian was still present in this body somewhere. But it was a female voice. How the hell did it get inside my head? "Please, just do as I tell you for now. I'll explain everything after she leaves. Simply tell her you're not in the mood tonight," the voice spoke again, loud and clear. Slowly, I bent down to her level and spoke, "Selene, look at me." She continued trembling, refusing to meet my gaze, so I lifted her face somewhat forcibly, 'Look at me!' I repeated and she stared directly into my eyes. There was contempt in her eyes, which surprised me. With her face down, it appeared as though she was trembling out of fear. She suddenly voiced out, "Do you despise me that much?" There were emotions brewing in her eyes that I couldn't quite comprehend. However, I responded with a firm "no." "Then what did I do to warrant such repulsion just now?" she asked, sounding heartbroken. The pitiful look that had replaced her earlier expression threw me off guard. Did I imagine that look just now? I decided to ignore it. In a calm tone, I replied, "It's not you. You're still recovering, and I wouldn't want anything to hinder that process." I said, trying to mitigate the situation even though that was a lie. "But you asked me to come in," she retorted, genuinely shocked this time. I wondered, did "come in" have a different meaning in this world? Before I could think any further she quickly added, "Besides there's still my mouth which is perfectly okay." She added quietly looking down this time around. My God! What had this guy turned this girl into? His s*x slave? I felt anger building up at the thought of those words and the earlier ones, "master," and "serve." I had nothing against b**m or a bit of role-play, as long as it's consensual. But this was different. I couldn't address this issue now and we both needed to calm down. The only thing I could do was to dismiss her for now and hear whatever who it was in my mind had to say. So I urged her, "Go get some sleep. We'll talk more tomorrow." However, she raised her face and looked at me skeptically. "Can I sleep here?" she asked, gesturing to my bed. I pondered for a moment. I couldn't show any rejection again tonight so I agreed, "I'll let you, but only if you promise not to repeat what you did earlier," I had to put that warning out there in order to be safe. "Yes, my lord," she replied with a smile. I figured I would have to address that form of address as well. I helped her up and tucked her into bed, all the while feeling her gaze on me as though I were doing something strange. Could it be that Lucian never showed her any affection? What kind of person was he? If I ever got the chance, I would really love to give him a good beating. I lay down on the bed too. It was king-sized, so there was more than enough room for both of us. "Good night," I said, to which she replied. "Now come out," I said, referring to whoever had spoken in my head earlier. "Okay, but don't freak out," she warned. "Do I look like the type to freak out?" I responded with a question. "Okay, here's the deal. I'll give you a rundown of what's happening here," she began. "Why would I want to hear that? Am I in any way obligated to stay here? I only remained because I wanted to take care of Selene. As soon as I am certain she can stand on her own, I will find my way out of this place," I stated. That had been my plan all along. When I saw Selene's condition after arriving here, I wanted to make sure she was okay, help her if she wanted to leave, and then find my way out. "You can't leave, or else you'll die in your world. All you have to do here is follow my instructions carefully, and you will be able to go back safely. Is that so hard to do!" She yelled angrily. First of all, I hated any form of threat, even the tiniest bit of it. Those who had dared to threaten me in the past had come to regret it. I needed to make that clear if we were going to have a proper conversation. "Listen to me, young lady. Don't you dare try to threaten me again if you want to achieve anything here. I am certain that you or whoever brought me here has something to gain by doing so. Don't try to mess with me, because I am not afraid of death. I can get rid of you and destroy this entire palace faster than you could kill me back at home." Even if my body back home was in a vegetative state, there would still be bodyguards protecting it day in and day out, unless she planned on killing it some other way. She fell silent, and then I heard hiccups. Really? Why make a threat if you can't even back it up a little? Must be another 19-year-old. "Are we clear?" I asked. "Yes, my lord. It won't happen again," she replied sounding a bit fearful. I didn't have intentions to make her afraid, but apparently, I needed to work on my communication skills with teenagers. "And don't call me that again," I added. I was getting tired of all these forms of address. "How should I address you then?" she asked skeptically. "Just 'sir' or 'Gerald' would do," I replied, leaving it up to her to choose. "Okay, sire," she responded, guess she chose the former but with the 'e'. She fell silent again, seemingly waiting for me to tell her what to do next. I figured I would just take charge of the conversation. "What is your name?" I asked the first question. "It's Myra, sire," she replied. "Now, tell me, Myra, how did I end up here? And if you could communicate with me, why didn't you reach out earlier?" I inquired. "You arrived here by accident," she explained. The term "accident" sounded somewhat suspicious, but I decided not to press her on it. My main concern was finding out how to return. "Please, continue," I encouraged her. "Well, I tried reaching out to you, but you couldn't hear me because you hadn't awakened your wolf yet. You were able to do so earlier when you displayed strong emotions toward Selene's actions. I don't have a physical body, but I can link my mind to yours and communicate if you allow it. However, as you were unaware of how to do that, I had to wait for your wolf to awaken and seize the moment to establish a sort of automatic connection," she explained. "Just to clarify, do you observe my every movement and action?" I couldn't help but question, as that would be a serious invasion of my privacy. "Not at all, sire. I can only hear your voice if you let me. I can't even see you. I'll only be able to see your surroundings in an emergency situation," she assured me. "Okay, let's move forward with the important matters. Even if you can't tell me how to return, you should be able to at least explain why I'm here and what I need to do to leave." "I could do that much." She replied.
