C H A P T E R 5

ZEL’s POV

  Zellaine is my real name. But I think the creatures living in this realm is too lazy to spell longer names so they only limit the students name for 2-5 letters only. So for today I will go to the school proper and process my enrollment. Next week will be the Class opening and I am freaking excited and at the same time nervous? No scared. Its either I will fall on the Maple Class or on the Betel Class. Of course I want to be in the Maple Class but being a student of that Class pressures me and I might not able to catch up with the others.

And this is my very secret, I am a half human and half creature. That is why my beauty stands out in this school. My mother is a creature and my father is a half creature half human too. This gives me the urge of being the school’s Queen creature. Well, I cannot blame them if  they can see my perfect well-toned hour shaped body. My round ever green eyes with long natural eyebrows and thick eye lashes makes them mesmerized by my beauty. The do not know about this secret and if they know it, I may be the least favorite of the school and I don’t like that to happen. Well to my height, I’m 175cm. I think its normal for a girl? hahaha

Talking about my abilities, I find it useless and one of the least and not that important ability. I can talk to plants and animals. That’s all. I never been in the Birch Class, I accelerated in the Elm Class because this is just my ability. I really hate this ability and I find it bothersome to the other students. They find me weird when I talk to the plants. Their is this certain situation when I roam around the garden. The plants were happy when they see me. And as a school rule, no one must show their abilities outside the classroom. In my case, I cannot just hold it within me when the plants and animals are teasing me. They are all my friend though. I may be the Queen creature of this school but I’m an introvert. I tend to focus on class except the Abilities Class. I just hate my abilities. I always find my peace in the garden. One time last school year, I stroll around the garden and the plants and animals are sleeping. I’ planning to pull a prank on them and I suddenly shout, “Wake up,sleepyheads!”

The plants were aghast and got angry at me. The animals as usual, they tend to sleep heavily and deeply. I was playing with the plants when someone said,”You don’t have to remind me that I’m a sleepy head,Miss.” he said. ‘This blue-eyed creature is a hottie! His honey skin really suits him well. Gosh but he’s drop dead serious and the fact that he just got up from his sleep. AAAAHHHH! He’s a perfection!’ I thought as soon as I saw him.

“I know I am handsome,you don’t have to stare at me like that!” He said then rolled his eyes. He stood up and was about to walk away.

“I’m sorry!” I shouted. I am new to this feeling though. He’s taller than me and I guess we’re compatible.

“wow! So sincere!” he shouted sarcastically. The plats we’re about to attack him-well they don’t want me to get in trouble but I naturally swayed my hand. A signal that they should back up.

“What’s your name?” I asked. Half knowing his name and stalk him and half saying sorry.Just to sound sincere hahaha

“Now what?” he said.

“Your name, what is it?” I said then fidget my finger.

He exhaled and said,”Its okay now. Don’t be sad.”

Dude, I am not sad, I just wanna know your freaking name!

“Please tell me your name.” I said still lowering my head. The plants were cringing for what I am doing.

‘fvck off, you roots! I’m going to get his name’ I thought.

“Okay,okay. I’m Nine.” the inner me smiled and said,” I’m really sorry about what I said,Nine. I take it back.” I said seriously but at the back of my head I’m shouting and jumping for joy for knowing his name.

“Its okay! I’ll leave first.” He said then grab his coat and left.

When he left the garden, I screamed! The plants tickles me and the animals hurray for me to join my ‘one of the happiest day of my life’, I guess.

I snapped back to reality when they called my star number.

“0128 please proceed to Window 7.” I proceeded there by walking slowly,like a zombie.

I met Shelly and she tried to cheer me up but I don’t have extra strength to go all out today.

She smiled at me brightly and I felt weird. I went to my dorm and eat. Its like an ordinary day for me.

I lay down on my bed after eating and out of the blue, I raised my wrist and I noticed the stem of the leaf on my wrist. I slowly turned it and I raised my body in the in no time. My eyes stuck on my wrist. I cannot believe it.

“I’m on the Maple class.” I said while still looking at my wrist. I looked at my card and found my room number.

“314. I’ll see you.” I said then smiled at the thought of having bigger and more comfortable room.

I packed my things up leaving no thing left behind.

I’m dancing while walking and I can say that I’m really happy about it. Its my dream being in this class.

I’m on the second floor and I wished I never met him at the stairs.

“hey what’s up Zel?” Min asked.

“I’m good Min.” I answered in full of plasticity. Well-I don’t care as long as he’s friends with that guy.

“Hi Zel.” Kim said with his baritone voice.

“Don’t try to read my mind,Kimuel!” I said with his full name. I call him with his full name because I find it cute.

I was about to walk directly when someone held my wrist.

“You’re one of the Maples?” he asked. Yes, my dimwit,stupid and i***t ex-boy friend asked.

“Yes,I am. No get off me.” I said then pull my hand. I really hate seeing his face. He already ruine dmy day. Ugh!

“zel, we-- Min said but Nine cut off his words.

“Come on dude! Let’s go.! he said then stormed out the second floor.

Wait-they’re from the 3rd floor right? Or maybe they are sitting on the staircases as they always do.

We;ll, whatever their reason is I don’t care.

I walked straight to my room but before I enter it, I saw someone opened room 313. She’s a new face. I haven’t seen here.

“Hi.” I said with a smile. Its a genuine smile,please.

“Hello.” She’s beautiful and sexy. She also has this perfect hour glass figure.

“Are you new here? I haven’t seen you in the campus though.” I said.

“Yeah,I’m new here. I arrived yesterday-oh!” She’s cute when she startled. She’s really new. She’s still not aware of her words.

“Haha its okay. I’m Zel by the way.” I said then bowed 90 degrees.

“I’m Melody.” She said then bowed half a degree. If she’s an old student I might have told the supervisor that she has no manners. Bowing 90 degrees is giving your utmost respect to the person.Half a degree means that you don’t take that person seriously and meeting her is a joke for you. Its like disrespecting.

“Oh so you’re Mel.” I said. I like her name. It means gift or honey. It has a lot of meanings though.

“Uhm-yeah. Anyway, I gotta go. I still have to enroll today. Goodbye.” She left without my response.

So she hasn’t enrolled yet but she’s already here?

Maybe she’s an intruder? or some newbies or from the Oak class who has a strong desire of being in a Maple Class.

“i’ll think about her later. I’ll unpack first.”

I savored my room and is please of what it looks like, what is smells like and its design.

I had no plan in eating tonight since I’m on diet so I decided to sleep early. I have to practice my sport tomorrow. I have to deal with him again.
