Dr. Singh and Dr. Hardwick were waiting at the ER entrance, and they took him immediately to a trauma room and ordered an IV of Normal Saline and asked his pain level and where the pain was located. Peter said it was six out of ten and centered in the middle of his chest. Dr. Hardwick ordered Nitroglycerin Drip with D-Five-W on a pump plus 100 Milligrams of Meperidine IV.
I squeezed Master’s hand and said. “You don’t get to leave me, not until we finish all our work, and you tell me you love me.”
“Paper,” Master demanded.
“Master, please relax,” I pleaded.
“That’s good advice, Peter.” Dr. Singh suggested.
