Talking to my Dad about everything was really hard. For once, I was glad that Sol was there to help because between the two of us we couldn’t stop crying and apologizing, so nothing was getting said. Sol had to finally step in and tell Dad that I wasn’t his biological daughter.
His response was expected. He was devastated, but in the end accepted it.
And me.
He told me that it didn’t matter whose blood ran in my veins, I was his daughter and nothing and nobody could change that. I would always be his little girl with the weird frog fear.
