Just as I thought the place was packed. The line to enter was wrapped around the side of the building, and didn’t look to be moving very quickly.
“Welp, we tried. By the time we get to the front of the line the place will be closed.” I tried to be quick and turn around and leave, but Dirk was quicker.
“Girl, who do you think we are? We are no mere peasants, and we sure aren’t waiting in that line.” Dirk grabbed my hand and led me and Daimen up to the front of the line.
“Excuse me sir, but I believe you’ll find us on that list.” Dirk told the bouncer with a slight growl.
