Chapter 1 The Last Royal Phoenix Golden flames danced across the endless sky. The floating islands of the Phoenix Kingdom glowed beneath the Eternal Sun, their magnificent palaces reflecting upon the clouds like heavenly mirrors. Countless phoenixes once lived there, their songs filling the heavens with warmth and peace. Then came the Black Dragons. Their dark wings covered the skies. Their flames devoured everything. The greatest war in history began. For centuries, the Phoenix Kingdom fought against the Black Empire. Mountains shattered, stars dimmed, and entire realms were destroyed. One by one, the sacred phoenix clans were annihilated. Until only one remained. King Armond. Standing atop the ruined Palace of Dawn, his body covered in wounds, King Armond gazed upon the ashes of his people. Around him lay the corpses of dragons and phoenixes alike. The once-glorious kingdom had become a graveyard. His golden eyes burned with hatred and sorrow. "The Phoenix Kingdom has fallen…" he whispered. Above him, thousands of black dragons circled the skies. The Dragon Emperor himself descended from the heavens. "Armond!" the Dragon Emperor roared. "Submit to me and become my servant. I may spare your life." King Armond laughed bitterly. "The royal phoenix bows to no one." Golden flames erupted from his body. The Dragon Emperor's eyes widened. "No!" BOOM! A blinding explosion shook the heavens. The Dragon Emperor was forced back while King Armond disappeared from the battlefield. For decades, the Black Dragons searched every realm. But the last royal phoenix had vanished. Fifteen years later. Deep within the hidden Sky Realm, life had returned to the Phoenix Kingdom. Under the protection of powerful barriers, magnificent cities rose among the clouds once more. Rivers of golden light flowed through valleys, and phoenix maidens danced beneath the sacred trees. Inside the royal palace, King Armond stood quietly beside the window. Though he appeared to be a handsome man in his early thirties, sadness lingered within his eyes. He was alone. The last of his kind. Until fate brought hope. Behind him came soft footsteps. "My king." King Armond turned and smiled. Queen Alessandra approached him gracefully, carrying a tray of tea. "You haven't slept again," she said softly. Armond smiled helplessly. "There are too many things on my mind." Alessandra placed a hand upon his cheek. "You are not alone anymore." The king looked toward the garden outside. Fourteen young men and women laughed together beneath the sunlight. His children. His hope. His future. Eight sons. Six daughters. Each carried the Golden Phoenix Mark on their shoulders. The mark that proved they belonged to the royal bloodline. Suddenly, the palace doors burst open. A little girl rushed inside. "Father!" Yvie, the youngest princess, leaped into his arms. "Father, Brother Blake stole my cake!" Behind her, Prince Blake entered laughing. "That's because she took mine first!" Queen Alessandra sighed. "You two again?" Soon the entire room filled with laughter as the other princes and princesses arrived. Matias, calm and dignified. Sebastian, intelligent and cunning. Luke, gentle and kind. Drilan, brave and fearless. Blake, mischievous and cheerful. Markus, quiet and mysterious. Dion, charming and elegant. Narr, the youngest prince with eyes identical to his father's. Araniya, the graceful eldest princess. Katniss, wise beyond her years. Danissa, whose beauty stunned everyone. Erlis, energetic and stubborn. And Yvie, the family's little treasure. King Armond watched them with warmth. This was his kingdom. His family. Everything he had fought to protect. But far away, within the Black Empire, an ancient dragon slowly opened its eyes. Deep beneath the Dragon Palace, a crystal orb glowed. Within the orb appeared the image of fourteen young royals bearing golden marks upon their shoulders. The old dragon's eyes widened. "It cannot be…" His voice trembled. "The royal bloodline survived." He immediately knelt before the Dragon Emperor. "Your Majesty…" "The Last Phoenix King still lives." Silence filled the throne room. Then— BOOM! The Dragon Emperor's aura exploded in fury. "Find them!" "Kill every single one!" "And this time…" "Leave no phoenix alive." Meanwhile, unaware that death was approaching, King Armond embraced his children and smiled peacefully. He had no idea that the greatest storm in history had already begun. And destiny… Had finally awakened.
