So this was an interesting morning.
At ten minutes to seven, Datu was already parked outside Kalila’s house, moussing his hair in place and enjoying the latte he bought at a nearby coffee shop. He’d called to let her know he was just waiting for her in the car, but her line was busy, so he sent a text instead. When she didn’t reply after fifteen minutes, he decided to just walk up to her door and knock.
