Griffin and Evers were both heated as they stood face to face. Evers was gripping the lapel of Griffin's coat. He was holding so firmly that the white of his knuckles could be seen. Their necks were covered in a red flush that covered both of their faces. Any other person might turn to go after apologizing for their interruption. I was frozen in place, not me. The piercing blue eyes of Beth and Ever seemed to be attempting to get my attention. I simply was unable to look at either of them. The lovely green eyes held my gaze in awe.
I wasn't sure whether I would ever see Griffin's stunning green eyes again.
