Chapter 20

1545 Words

It was impossible for any of this to be true! Monsters didn't exist, and there was no way I could ever be one! I've never felt the desire to change or lose control of myself like I do in fiction. My body transforming into a wolf was ridiculous! Still, I couldn't see wanting to consume someone's blood. When I began to hyperventilate, I could feel the breath exiting my lungs. In the midst of the chaos, only one thing made sense. It was the world's art of witchcraft. Where I didn't believe I held any skills. There were just too many unknowns in the world for magic to be ruled out. It didn't mean I couldn't believe in witches. That simply meant that I believed in the power of our universe's enchantment. Attempting to clear my mind of all the rubbish I've come to like in my fictitious stories.
