April's POV
The diner tonight was great. Good food and a great host. After diner he walked me to my room and kissed my cheek goodnight. I could feel the sudden heat raising in my cheeks. I was not expecting that. I went to my bathroom and changed into a pair of silk pj's and laid in my bed. My brain was spinning from the evening I just had. Ben was my mate. I had never felt that excitement before tonight. It felt thrilling. I have only ever felt fear in my life so this was a change of pace. I couldn't help but think about what the moon goddess said to me. That I would be Luna Queen. I would need to learn to control my powers. That my mate was waiting for me to wake up. It's all adding up so far. I fell asleep thinking about Ben.
