The Omega Luna Queen

Chapter 2

Derek's POV

Ever since i was a child I have always dreamt of becomingthe strongest alpha known to our kind. That would mean I need to be the alpha king one day. I knew I had to do something to get the title. However there has not been an alpha king in 100 years. I had to think of a way to get what I want. I remember my father telling me of a secret room in the pack library. It is said to hold all werewolf history and prophecies. That place might have just want I need but I don't know how to access it. I called my father to ask him about it

" Dad do you remember telling me about a secret room in the library?" I asked

" Yes son it holds all werewolf history and some book of prophecies but that information is dangerous" he said

"I understand but since I am the Alpha now don't you think I should know how to get in, if and when I need to?" I asked

"I guess that does make sense...ok son I will tell you. First you need to go see Tonya the head librarian..I made sure she was the only one to have access the room..She will ask you for the password only she would know and then she will lead you down to the under croft as I call it. In there you will find all the history" he said

" Ok and what is the password" I said

"Icy Wolf" he said

" That's it dad, don't you think it needs to be a harder password?" I asked

"Sometimes it's the things right infront of us that is the most hidden. Everyone will think its something so hard but yet it's so simple. I have to go your mother has finished diner. Be careful down there ok bye son" he said and hung up.

After diner I went to the library and found Tonya putting book away on the shelf

"Tonya I need to get into the secret room" I said as she jumped with a fright

"oh my goddess alpha you scared me.......what is the password?"she said

"Icy Wolf" I said

" follow me" and she lead me down into the basement.

Tonya pulled what seemed to be random books off the shelf and the shelf opened like a door

" Here you go alpha" she said and walked away.

I walked inside a big room and it was decorated in a medieval style with large book shelves covering each wall

"There is so many books here. How will I find what I need?" I asked myself.

I started just looking at each book binding looking something that said alpha king. I looked for a few hours until high up on a shelf I found a white book the read "The History of the Luna queens" and figured it was a good place to start. In the book tells of the first Luna Queen centuries ago who was said to bring peace and prosperity to the wolven world. It goes on to say the Luna Queen was gifted a white wolf. This wolf was made in the image of the moon goddess her self. The Luna Queen was also gifted with the power to take away someone wolf or Grant them a Wolf. Harnessing the power of the moon she would have the power of water. Once the Luna Queen mated she would then give her mate amazing strength to help her protect the world. The true Luna Queen would stand out in beauty with her red hair and green eyes. It says that every 100 years there would be a new queen to keep the peace in the lands. This luna queen would take the thrown at the age of 19. The last Luna Queen died 98 years ago so in 2 years we would have a new queen. After skimming the book I had to come up with a plan.

I went back to my office to think of a plan

"Red hair is not rare anymore. there is alot of red haired girls with green eyes. I could start by capturing all the red heads I see but that would take alot of time and where would I put them? Where would I start? how would I know which one is the right one? The pack house is on a mountain side. Maybe I could have my men carve out a room. I could keep them in there until I find her. when I do I will make her take me as her chosen mate. Then I would be granted the Alpha Ling title. I was putting the finishing touches on my plan when I heard a knock on my door

" Come in" I said

Devin my Beta walks in "My alpha, this letter came in for you" he said and handed me the letter

"It an invitation to a Luna ceremony at silver star pack for tomorrow. Kind of short notice.....I could make this were I start my search....RSVP for me Devin" I said

"Yes Alpha" he said and walked out of my office

"This could work....I could go and check it out and if I find any red heads I will take them home with me" I said to myself.

Now all I need is my room built so I mind linked my gamma

"Donavan I am going away tomorrow but I have a very important job I need completed by tomorrow night" I said and filled him in on the room

"Yes alpha I will get it done" he said.

This could go work well for a starting point for me.
