April's POV
I was in my room crying when kayla came in
"April are you ok. I tried to find you but no one seen you since the Alpha dragged you away" she said
"He was my mate kayla" I said
"Who was? the alpha?" she asked
"Yes the alpha" I said sobbing "What happend?" she asked while rubbing my back to sooth me
"He rejected me kayla all because the moon goddess didn't think I was good enough for a wolf" I said
"He rejected you because you have no wolf..wow what a peice of shit.....well that would explain why he was in such a bad mood at school today" she said
"Will you lay with me please" I asked and she laid down with me.
We fell asleep and when I woke up she was gone. I put on my uniform and went upstairs to the kitchen to get ready to cook lunch I went to put the sandwiches on the table in the dining room and noticed alot of people were already there. I saw Dustin sitting next to a blonde hand feeding her fruit looking all loving. The blonde noticed me looking at Dustin
" What are you staring at slave girl? It better not be my mate" and as soon as she said thoes words my heart shattered even more.
Dustin looked over at me with a grin and grabbed the girls face and kissed her. I held my tears so he couldn't see them a went back to the kitchen.
After lunch was served it was time to start the preparation for the Luna ceremony tonight
"I can't beleave he chose that bimbo over you april" Kayla said
"It's fine I guess maybe I wasn't ment to have a mate maybe I am just ment to be a servant" I said and walked away trying to stop the conversation
"April wait please I'm sorry I know you don't want to talk about it but it just makes me so mad like how can her chose her over my best friend" said kayla
"Kay please I don't care anymore" I said and continued setting up for the ceremony.
It was 6pm when some guests started showing up. I started serving them drinks. Another hour goes by and the ceremony was about to start and I was still serving drinks when I saw him. He has short black hair and bulging muscles like he was cut straight from a Greek God you know like Zeus or Hercules. He was wearing a black suit with a white shirt and it made him look so handsome. The man caught my eye and I looked down like a nervous school girl and I walked away.I carried the drink tray to another group of people where I saw a guy who gave me a bad vibe
"Would you like a drink alpha?" I asked
"Yes thank...wow are you a beauty. I love your red hair...oh and green eyes to match...May I ask you a question girl?" he asked
"of course alpha" I said
"Do you have a mate" he asked. I stood there in shock
"Did he just ask me if I had a mate" I thought to myself
"Ummm....no alpha I dont" I said
"Would you like to be a luna?" he asked
"Man this guy's is creeping me out" I thought to myself
"I'm just a lowly orphan omega alpha I would not make a good luna" I said
"oh an orphan I'm sorry to hear that. If I may ask what happend?" he asked
"I'm not sure they died when I was 3...I'm sorry alpha but I have to keep serving the other guest" I said and walked away.
I continued serving throught the night and that creepy guy just kept looking at me. I tried to avoide him as much as I could but as unlucky as I am the fates had other plans. After the ceremony everyone was invited outside for a bonfire to continue the night. I was helping the little kids make s'mores when Dustin and his new Luna Kira found me
"What are you doing slave girl your not suppose to be taking a break" said Kira
"The kids asked me to help them make s'mores so I thought I could help" I said
"That is not your job orphan you were told to serve the guest that is the job of the oarents or our new luna" Dustin said
"I'm sorry alpha it won't happen again" I said and tried to walk away until Dustin grabbed my arm and said
"Just becuase you were my mate doesn't make you luna material. Learn your place" he said and pushed me on the ground
"I'm sorry alpha and luna" I said and went inside.
I stood in the kitchen alone and cried when I heard his voice
"My dear what is wrong? Why are you crying?" the creepy guys asked
"I'm fine alpha I'm sorry" I said and wiped my tears away.
I was about to walk away when something hit me in my head. My vision started going black and before I knew it I had passed out. I woke alittle while later and noticed my hands and feet were tied and duck tape on my mouth. I saw I was in the back seat of a car. The creepy guy looked at me
"Well looks like your awake good. My name is Derek and I'm the alpha of blood moon pack. Your coming home with me and since you are an orphan with no mate I guess I don't have to worry about someone finding you now will I" he said with a wicked grin and injected me with something and I passed out again.
