Victoria's mother recoiled, pinching her nose in disgust. "Is this the untrustworthy secretary from your firm? She reeks of poverty. Vicky, call security and throw her out immediately."
I stood straight, tossing the cleaning rag into the bucket. Water splashed everywhere, staining Victoria's custom designer suit.
"No need for security. You said, Mr. K will send his special assistant to sign the investment contract tomorrow, right?" I asked flat, locking eyes with Victoria.
