"Did you know Mr. Langston was poisoned? He nearly slipped into a coma." I asked Mr Edric.
Mr Eldric raised a brow. "What? Poisoned?" He repeated as he looked so shocked,
He narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying it was done by someone from our family?" He asked.
I nodded. "It’s possible," I admitted.
I could see how surprised he looked, then I continued,"and whoever did this had to be close enough to him to administer the poison into his body in small doses over time. It wasn’t a one-time thing, the poison worked gradually, it was weakening his body. Had I been a minute later, Mr. Langston might not have made it."
Edric clenched his fists. He looked so angry, his mind was already thinking about whom the suspects might be.
