Elias and Dante halted their push-ups and stood straight; their arms were trembling as they looked so exhausted.
“Who told you to stop?” William barked at them.
Elias wiped sweat from his forehead. “Sir, I just thought you should know something before you make any final decisions.”
Williams crossed his arms. “And what is that?”
Elias looked over at Dante before speaking. “Earlier today, Ethan Blackwood and Magnus Hawthorne came to visit Ryder.”
Williams looked so shocked.
Elias continued, “If you fire Ryder and Ethan Blackwood hears about it. There’s a good chance he might just shut this company down.”
The moment Ethan Blackwood’s name was spoken, Williams’ entire demeanor shifted. He swallowed hard.
