“I’m not hiding anything,” I said, leaning back in my chair. “I just know someone over there who helped me out recently. That’s all.” Elizabeth’s expression softened; she looked quite happy. “That’s good news,” she said. After dinner, we headed to the boutique Vinie had mentioned.
