Why me? (Ep4)

Leo's POV:

The mission goes successful apart from the fact that Jake kept being kicked. It was hilarious though. Now: The other boys chucked her in the back of the van. She was screaming and kicking around, which was kind of irritating but we knew she wouldn't be able to get out. I made my way round to the drivers seat and slid the door open. I got inside and started the engine. The others got in the back and Alex came and sat in the passengers seat. We started driving and soon were on our way to the Mortmain Mountains. The drive was about 2 hours so i made sure i was comfy. After 5 minutes of driving, I noticed how quiet it had become. I soon realized that our little princess had finally settled down. I let out a sigh and started humming. There was something wrong though. "Boys, take her out of the bag and make sure she can't escape. Change her ropes so that if she wakes up she doesn't start complaining." I say with a slight bit of worry in my voice. For some reason she reminded me of my younger sister. I couldn't let her be like that, so that's why i asked them to do that. 

Charlotte's POV:

I woke up feeling a slight bit better than i had earlier. It took a moment but soon all of the memories of what had happened came rushing back. "Ah, princess is finally awake." I look up to see the man from the coffee shop driving the car i was currently in. I take a second to acknowledge my surroundings. Two of the men from yesterday are sat leaning on the side of the car. Well it was more of a van. "MMHHPPP!" I try to say, but the gag i have in my mouth is preventing me. The guy in the front starts speaking, "Jake, take the gag out, it's staring to annoy me." The one i had kicked earlier crawls towards me with a stern look on his face. I don't think he has forgiven since our last encounter. He leans forward and puts his hands behind my head and starts untying the cloth. Once it's off i move my mouth around and bring my hands up to massage it. I notice that my ropes have been changed and my hands are now in front of my body giving me better access to do things. Without thinking i start to panic. "AHHHHHHH HELP MEEEE..... MHHPPP." A large hand covers my mouth muffling my screams. The guy Jake (I think that's his name) looks at me with a stern expression. I bite his hand not wanting to have any dirty grimy fingers poisoning me with germs. After biting him he pushes my face away at the sudden pain he was experiencing. "You b**ch, first you kick me than you bite me. You're gonna pay for it!" He says anger spilling out of him. With that he raises his hand. I cringe and try to hide my face but am luckily saved. "Jake that's enough. We don't want to spoil our little princesses face do we now?" I look towards my hero and then look back at my attacker. "Wh...who a..re y..you p..pp...people?" I say not being able to hide how scared I am. "We are the Lions." A voice said from opposite me. I look and inspect him. He has a well built body and red hair. He has a well defined jawline and a slight bit of stubble which only makes him look hotter. "Take a picture it will last longer." He says with a smirk. "I...I...I wasn't i wouldn't." "It's OK. I understand, it's not everyday you see a man this hansom." I roll my eyes. "Don't listen to Nate he just thinks he's a pretty boy." The guy from the passenger seat says. "Shut up Alex!" Says Nate. "OK , Nate, Alex and Jake are their names. But who's the guy driving called?" I wonder to myself. I'm suddenly brought back to my senses when we hit a bump. I then remember that I have just been kidn*pped and I can't start to like my kidnappers. "Wh...hat...d..do...you...want...from...me?" I say, slightly less stuttery. "No clue, Boss just wants your amulet but told us to take you as well." Alex replies. "My amulet?" I say slightly shocked. "Yes, now if you don't shut up i'm going to actually kill you." Jake hisses. I don't wait to be asked again. I simply turn on my side and scootch over to the side of the car. I lay my back on the door and rest my head on the back. I start to softly cry, and then i think to myself. "Why me?" And with that I'm out cold. I guess this long car journey had made me tired. I start dreaming about all the amazing places i could be right now. I have no idea what lies ahead of me tomorrow.
