"Paige, what's wrong?" Lisa asked hurrying over to where I stood staring at my blank phone screen in shock,
"We have to go to the hospital, now" I answered snapping out of my reverie,
"Wait, why? Who was that?" she asked frantically as we both walked out of the kitchen leaving everything behind,
"They were attacked, I don't know how bad it was but the doctor said Jace may not make it" I murmured breathing through the pain in my heart as I thought of it,
"Oh my goodness, that sounds bad already" she gasped in shock,
