Veric told Xiof that he had successfully killed the tiger with the poison he had made.
"It's good that you understand how to make poison," said Xiof.
"From that book, I learned about medicine and poison," said Veric softly.
"This young man is indeed smart; he can understand in less than a month," Xiof said to himself.
"The point is, I'm giving you three months, and use it as best you can. If you want to give up, say so immediately," said Xiof.
"No! I don't want to give up. I'm sure I can finish it in three months," replied Veric firmly.
"Why are you so sure?" asked Xiof.
"Of course, I have to believe in myself. Besides, I like learning new things," replied Veric.
"All right, you do have to believe in your abilities. I hope you succeed," said Xiof, then left Veric.
"No matter how long it takes, I will never give up on getting what I want," said Veric enthusiastically.
Several months later.
Veric had understood everything in the book Xiof had given him. Xiof had also tested Veric, and he passed the first challenge.
"I am much stronger now, but I still don't have any magic," said Veric to himself.
"I have to be patient, everything takes time," he continued.
"Are you ready for my second challenge?" asked Xiof, looking at Veric.
"I'm very ready! What's the next challenge, Master?" replied Veric.
"Go to Zaxnke Hill to drink the holy water; it can cleanse the negative aura within you," said Xiof.
"Zaxnke Hill? That's in the desert, very far from here," replied Veric with a look of surprise on his face.
"I also don't have any magic that can get me there quickly," he continued with a look of frustration.
"You can use other means, without having magical powers," said Xiof.
"If you accept my challenge, I will prepare supplies for you. But if you want to give up, that's fine too, I won't force you," he continued.
"I can't give up! By becoming Master Xiof's student, I will definitely gain extraordinary powers," Veric said to himself.
"Tell me your decision immediately," asked Xiof.
"I am ready to take on this challenge, Master. I don't want to give up," replied Veric.
"Good!" said Xiof with a slight smile.
"Wait here for a moment, I will prepare provisions for you." Without waiting for Veric's answer, Xiof left.
"I will not die just because I am traveling far," said Veric.
Not long after, Xiof returned carrying a bag.
"These are provisions for you," he said, handing over the bag.
Veric accepted it and opened the bag. He was pretty surprised to find that it contained gold coins.
"Master, why are you giving me so many gold coins? Isn't this too much?" asked Veric.
"You fool! You will need them for your journey, because they are very essential.
"Remember! You must use them wisely," he continued.
"All right. I'll definitely use it as best I can," said Veric.
"Now you can go," ordered Xiof.
"But I don't know how to get out of this ravine. Can you show me the way out?" asked Veric.
"That's not my concern. You have to figure it out yourself," replied Xiof, then left Veric.
"Oh my god, I really don't know the way out," said Veric with a frustrated look.
Veric thought of a way to get out, but didn't want to climb up to the witch clan's territory.
"This ravine is bottomless. When I fell, I thought I was going to die, and there's no way I can climb up there on my own two feet. I'll die of exhaustion," Veric grumbled with an annoyed look.
Veric finally decided to explore the forbidden ravine area.
"Hopefully, I can find a way out of this ravine," said Veric.
Veric had walked quite far from Xiof's house. But he still hadn't found a way out.
"If I stay in this ravine, I can't go to Zaxnke Hill, and I've failed." Veric rubbed his face roughly, trying not to give up.
"I can help you. You want to find a way out, don't you?" said someone.
Veric immediately looked in the direction of the person.
The woman approached Veric. "I know the way out, and I'm not lying."
Veric looked at the woman with an unreadable expression.
"Can you tell me?" asked Veric.
"Don't worry, I'll definitely tell you. As long as you help me first," she replied softly.
"What do you need me to do?" said Veric.
"I need your touch. I've been poisoned by passion, and if I don't get touched soon, I'll die," explained the woman.
"Crazy woman! I don't want to do that," Veric grumbled annoyedly.
"I beg you. After that, I will help you," said the woman with a pleading look.
"What should I do? Can this woman really help me? But what if she deceives me?" Veric thought to himself.
"I won't deceive you. Hurry! I don't have much time," snapped the woman, trying to endure the pain.
"It seems like this woman isn't lying," muttered Veric.
"Alright. I agree to help you," said Veric.
Hearing Veric's agreement, the woman immediately hugged Veric tightly.
"Let me take control, you just enjoy it," whispered the woman right into Veric's ear.
Veric swallowed hard upon hearing the woman's whisper. He had to surrender to what the woman was doing.
"This is the only way," Veric thought to himself.
"Okay," replied Veric softly.
The woman gently caressed Veric's neck and moved down to his chest.
After that, she immediately kissed Veric's lips hastily.
"Touch me quickly, I can't wait." The woman guided Veric's hand to hold her waist.
"You're so delicious," said the woman in a stammering voice.
The woman kissed Veric again, even biting his lips. She also licked and nibbled Veric's ear.
"Enough!" said Veric.
"No. I'm not satisfied yet, and this poison hasn't worn off," replied the woman.
"If this woman is deceiving me, I will kill her with my poisonous weapon," Veric thought angrily.
