Veric was very surprised when he suddenly found himself at Xiof's house.
"I'm at Master Xiof's house," said Veric, rubbing his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.
"Veric, you're back," said Xiof, walking towards Veric.
"It turns out I wasn't dreaming," Veric said to himself.
"Good, you have successfully completed my second challenge. My challenges are quite difficult," said Xiof with a proud expression.
"How did you know I had successfully completed this challenge? I haven't told you yet," replied Veric, a little nervously.
"Of course I know. I warned you not to lie to me," said Xiof.
Then Xiof left Veric.
"I have to ask Master why I'm suddenly here. Did Master help me because I completed the second mission?" said Veric as he walked into the house.
"Where is Master Xiof? I saw him go into the house earlier. He's not even in his room," he continued.
Veric decided to go to his room while waiting for Xiof to return.
"I still remember it clearly. After drinking the water and just wanting to go home, I complained, then suddenly I was here. It's quite strange," said Veric.
Veric lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling in his room.
"After being given the chance to live, I learned many lessons. Including interesting events like earlier," said Veric with a chuckle.
Slowly, Veric began to feel sleepy and drifted off into dreamland.
The next morning.
"Oh my gosh, I fell asleep last night even though I wanted to wait for Master Xiof to come home. I slept too soundly last night," Veric said.
Veric then stepped out of his room, but there was no one there. Usually, Xiof would already be awake and had prepared breakfast.
"It turns out Master Xiof hasn't come home yet, even though I was waiting for the next challenge," Veric said softly.
"Maybe he really does have something important to do. I'd better make breakfast," he continued.
Veric decided to make a simple breakfast.
After breakfast, Veric intended to look for more firewood and fruit in the forest.
"I didn't expect Xiof to be a rich man, but he chooses to live a simple life. He even casually gave me a bag of gold," said Veric while washing the dirty dishes.
Veric had finished washing the dirty dishes.
"If only I were suddenly in the forest, it would be so exciting," said Veric with a laugh.
Veric's words were just a joke to him, but suddenly his body felt like it was being pulled by something.
"Oh my god, I'm really in the forest. So yesterday wasn't a coincidence, and it wasn't Master Xiof who helped me?" said Veric with a look of surprise on his face.
"Or did I gain power after drinking the holy spring water?" he continued happily.
"I'll prove it again later." Veric then wandered around the forest looking for firewood and fruit.
After gathering everything he needed, Veric decided to go home.
"I'll try again," said Veric.
Veric closed his eyes, hoping he was already home.
"If this fails, it means I don't have the power yet, and it was just a coincidence or someone helped me," said Veric as he opened his eyes.
Veric was very happy when he opened his eyes and found himself at home.
"Now that I have the power, I have to tell Master Xiof," said Veric enthusiastically.
Veric put away the firewood and fruit. He was now pleased because his efforts had borne some fruit.
"I've been waiting for a long time; now I can feel my power," said Veric softly. He almost cried.
"I want to show this to Mom and Dad, but do they still care about me? I want to tell them that I'm not what they think I am," he continued.
"Why are you crying?" asked Xiof.
"If you still want to be my student, don't dwell on your sadness. Get up and prove that you can be strong. If you only cry and feel sad, your enemies will be happy," he continued.
"I'm sorry. I won't do it again," replied Veric.
"All right," said Xiof, intending to leave Veric.
"Wait, Master. I want to tell you something," Veric stopped him.
"Go ahead," said Xiof.
"After I successfully completed your second challenge by drinking the holy water, I suddenly had power. I thought it was just a coincidence or that Master was helping me," explained Veric.
"It turns out that's not the case. I've tried it many times before," he continued.
"Isn't that good, if you already have the power? Isn't that what you've been hoping for all this time?" asked Xiof.
"That's true, and I'm also thrilled because I finally have the power," replied Veric.
"Use that power wisely. Your power is teleportation; you can go anywhere just by saying so. And there's one more thing; you have the magic to control objects," explained Xiof.
"Really?" said Veric with a happy look.
"Yes. It's just that you can't control it completely yet, and you have to practice a lot," replied Xiof.
"I will definitely practice hard," said Veric enthusiastically.
"Now that you've achieved your goal, you have two powers. Do you still want to continue with the third challenge?" asked Xiof.
"My two powers in the wizard clan are still considered weak. If I return, they may not accept me. And I still can't take my revenge," Veric thought to himself.
"This third challenge is much more difficult, and you can't play around. Make a wise decision, and don't let it harm you," Xiof warned.
"I choose to continue with the third challenge. Not only will I be able to become your student when I complete all the challenges, but I will also gain interesting experiences," Veric said firmly.
Xiof smiled slightly, pleased with Veric's answer.
"Alright. For the third challenge, you must be able to control the three realms," Xiof said.
Veric was naturally surprised upon hearing this. What did it mean to control the three realms? He only had two powers, and even those were still weak.
