The woman felt much better and no longer felt her earlier pain.
"Thank you for helping me. It seems that the passion poison has worn off," she said with a smile.
"Of course, the poison has worn off. You were almost out of control and too violent," Veric grumbled annoyedly.
"I'm sorry, maybe it was because of the effects of the poison," she replied, lowering her head.
"Never mind, don't think about it anymore. Now you have to help me," said Veric.
"Okay. I'll show you the way out. Now hold my hand," said the woman, extending her hand.
Veric looked at the woman with a doubtful gaze. Could he really trust the woman in front of him? Or would he end up trapped?
"Don't think too much and doubt me. If you really have doubts, then you'd better not ask for my help," said the woman with an annoyed expression.
Veric then grabbed the woman's hand, and in the next second, they both disappeared suddenly.
"This is the way out you were looking for, isn't it?" asked the woman.
Veric looked around and saw the border of the witch clan. Now Veric believed that this woman was not lying.
"Thank you," replied Veric.
"We've helped each other." The woman then disappeared, no one knew where.
Veric no longer cared about the woman; now he was focused on continuing his journey.
"I must remain vigilant, lest the witches see me. Otherwise, I could be captured by them," said Veric.
"From the location on the map given by the Master, Zaxnke Hill is in the desert region. That is human territory," muttered Veric.
Veric paused momentarily, staring at the border of the witch clan.
"That is the place where I was humiliated and belittled. I even felt the pain of being betrayed by the person I loved most," said Veric.
"All the pain I have endured, I will definitely repay. And I will return to that place, proving to everyone that I, too, can be strong," he continued.
Veric then continued his journey.
"Amazing. The human world is not inferior to the wizard world. In the book, it is called technology," said Veric as he stared at the vehicles passing by.
"That tool can live and die. It is used for traveling. Very cool! It is not inferior to magical powers," said Veric with a chuckle.
Veric decided to ask one of the humans.
"Wait, I forgot what that tool is called? If I don't know its name, they will think I'm stupid," said Veric with a frustrated look.
Veric tried to remember. "Now I remember, the device is called a vehicle. The name is a little difficult."
"The human said I had to go by plane. But now I'm very tired," Veric muttered.
"It looks like a place to eat, I'll just go there." Veric then went to a simple food stall.
Veric ordered the food with a variety of side dishes.
"My stomach is full. Human food is not much different from wizard food," Veric said.
"Are you done eating?" asked the waiter.
"Yes, I'm done," replied Veric.
"All right. Your total is $150." Veric scratched his head, which wasn't itchy.
"What do you mean?" Veric asked softly.
"Oh my god. Are you stupid! Or are you pretending to be stupid so you don't have to pay your bill? Pay up quickly! I don't want to lose money," the waitress snapped.
"This woman is so fierce. And again, I'm being called stupid," Veric grumbled.
"I'm not stupid! I don't have any money. Can I pay with this gold coin?" said Veric, handing over the gold coin.
"Are you trying to cheat me? This must be fake," snapped the waiter.
"No. It's real gold, you can exchange it for money," replied Veric.
"I have to be able to play human tricks so that I'm not considered stupid and a cheater," Veric said to himself.
"Wait a minute, I'll prove it," he said.
The waitress took out her cell phone and looked up information about the gold coin. The difference between real and fake.
"That's a cell phone. The most advanced magical device in the human world," Veric said to himself.
"Oh my goodness. It turns out this is real gold. This one gold coin is worth $5000." The waiter caught his breath as he looked at Veric.
"I don't have any money because I ran away from home. I only brought one bag of gold coins. But I forgot to exchange them for money because I was too hungry," explained Veric.
"It's okay, sir, I understand. This one gold coin is more than enough to pay for your meal, and you can even enjoy other dishes," said the waiter with a smile.
"No. I'm full," replied Veric.
"He must be a very rich man," he thought.
"Can you give me a place to stay for the night? I'll give you another gold coin. I only need one night, because my body is tired," said Veric.
"Of course! You can stay in my rented room. I'll be done with work soon. Can you wait for me?" he asked with a pleading look.
"Okay," replied Veric.
The waiter then left to continue his work.
"This is incredible luck. I only need to spend $150, and I can get $10,000 from that man," said the waiter with a happy expression.
"I can ask that woman about the plane, who knows, maybe she knows where Zaxnke Hill is," said Veric, staring at the waiter's back.
