Shikha's POV
My pre board examination just ended and we are free for one week before our doubt classes will be starting. But now I'm worried for my farewell party. As there was an announcement in the school that this weekend our juniors are giving us I mean their seniors a farewell party as a gesture of gratitude and thanks.
Now I have to do a lots of shopping with a lots of grooming on my body. I have so much work to do but five days are too less for all this. My dress is not ready yet and I don't own any makeup products as I had never used any makeup before.
So I am planning to wear a saree in the farewell party. So first I need to buy my dress then I have to go to my boutique for the blouse and then I will go for the shopping of makeup and skincare products shopping. I need to complete all this by tomorrow so that I can go to saloon and get myself groomed properly.
I slept well after all this planning. As the sun peeks into my room from my window, I smiled and sat up on my bed with my top sheet on my face. After some time I went to the bathroom and completed my daily routine. Then I went to downstairs to have my breakfast with my whole family. It was good having breakfast with family as we chatted and laughed at different things.
At 11 o'clock I told my mom that I am going for shopping for my farewell party and she gave me a good amount of money so that I can shop for my farewell wholeheartedly.
Soon I reached to the mall. I went through the various shops but my mind was still on the first saree I saw in the first shop which was a deep blue coloured saree with sequence work in the border and the tassel detailing on the pallu it had silver blouse which was giving it so simple and elegant look. In the end I bought that one only then I bought all the matching accessories like earrings, Sandles, and hair clips. Then I moved to the cosmetic section of the mall and bought all the makeup stuff for me after all this shopping I was hell tired and thought to have a happy meal from Macdonald's.
After filling my tummy I got back to my house and showed all the stuff to my mom. She was too happy to see all these. Then I went to my room to have a short nap before dinner.
After having my dinner I thought what I have to do tomorrow as only grooming part is left in my to do list for farewell party. I slept with this thought. I woke up with a perking sound of my alarm clock. I completed my routine and had my breakfast and off to saloon to have my facial, waxing, eyebrows and lips. After the whole 4 hours I was set to go home back.
I am feeling very light and happy after my grooming session and now I have to wait for two days before the party.
