I watched him walk away then slowly surveyed the crowd. I felt someone's intense gaze and turned to see who it was, all I saw was people dancing and 'laughing'. High society couples probably bragging about their wealth and s**t. I sighed exasperated then grabbed a drink from the waitress. I took a tentative sip only for the glass to be removed from my grasp. I was about to yell a cuppa profanities before I met with my aunt's furious gaze. Without a word she grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the hall. I followed her silently into a room. Shock and relief, I never thought those two words could be put in a sentence together. But when I met Georgie's gaze I was happy AF and I felt a ray of hope invade my senses as I started plotting how to coax him to get me out of here.
