It had been a few days now since Cassie dropped by and everything blew up with Jared that night.. The house still carried a strange heaviness, I kept to myself mostly, trying not to think too much about the way he had looked at me when he said I was not his wife.
Today I was downstairs in one of the smaller sitting rooms, flipping through some old magazines just to keep my hands busy, the quiet was nice for once.
