"Well, the good news is your leg isn't broken," The doctor said.
"That's good," Mama said, relieved.
"Yes, it is. However, her ankle is badly sprained, which means she will have to take it easy for a few weeks. That means no cheerleading or any sports," the doctor said. I was sad because I had a choir performance that I wasn't going to be able to attend because there was a lot of dancing involved. What made me upset the most was that I was supposed to be the lead singer in the performance.
"That won't be a problem," Daddy said
"I would like to see her back in two weeks to make sure everything is healing fine," the doctor said.
"Okay," Mama said
"The nurse will bring your discharge papers, and you will be free to go," the doctor said.
"Thanks, Doc," Daddy
