"I am so sorry about Gwen and Amanda. I don't know why they would act like that," Catherine said. We had just made it back to our house.
"You have nothing to be sorry about, Catherine. You are not the one that made them act the way they did," Mama replied
"I just wish I didn't invite her to go with us to the mall. I noticed how Amanda was acting toward Ryan," Catherine said, and then she looked at me and Ryan. "I am sorry for inviting them. If I had known how they would act, I wouldn't have," Catherine said
"It's okay, mom," Ryan said and I agreed. My mom was right. Catherine was not the one to blame for Gwen and Amanda's actions.
