I was on my way to the apartment after work and as I was about to open the door someone else beat me to it. I thought it might be one of those ladies that likes to come and visit Leon but it wasn’t.
The guy smiled at me, “hey, you must be Dulce. I’m Nicholas.” He offered his hand for me to shake.
“Nice to meet you Nicholas, what brought you here today?” I asked as I shook his hand.
He smirked, “I was just helping Leon set up…”
“Hey, hey, hey Dulce. You’re back from work already?” Leon asked as he shoved Nicholas away. “Thank you man for all the help.” He said to Nicholas as he waved him off.
He begrudgingly left.
“I am from work. It is six after all.” I replied as I walked past Leon into the house. “Are we still on for the movie?” I asked as I made my way to my room.
