3 weeks after...
I woke up at around 5am and everyone else is still asleep. The only ones awake is me and Jieun. I walked in on her on the living room, drinking coffee.
"Hey." I said at a raspy voice.
"Morning, sleepy head." She chuckled as she poured coffee on a different cup and slid it towards me as I caught it easily.
"Thanks. That's new. Never expected you'd wake up early on a Saturday." I said as I took a long sip of my coffee, embracing the sweet aroma and taste.
"I know right." She chuckled.
"I'm gonna go cook breakfast for those chaotic idiots for when they wake up." I went to the fridge and roamed my eyes to see what's good for breakfast only ending up with a heavy sigh.
"Jesus, seriously? Junk foods? Ramen noodles? Geez, how is this healthy breakfast? The only healthy looking thing in here are these eggs. Remind me to go grab some healthy groceries for these gays." I shook my head as I took the tray of eggs out of the fridge. I went near the cupboards and rummage through it's contents and found a pancake batter mix. Without any second thoughts, I grabbed it and started preparing.
"You should've gotten used to it already. We've been living with them for 3 weeks now." She chuckled as she scroll through her laptop.
"So... Any new information about Amy's dad?" I asked as I mix the ingredients to make the batter.
"Nothing new. It seems like the guy just suddenly became a ghost." She shrugged as she kept scrolling on her laptop.
"But you know... We will have to tell the girls sooner or later right? About this whole secretly protecting them thing." She added.
"Yeah, I know. But think of this, if they found out very soon, it may not jeopardize the whole mission but it will likely expose them to more danger. That's one of the reasons why dad and Ms. Robins made us join the Bellas in the first place, Ji. They made us join the Bellas to keep a closer look on them 24/7." I said and she just sighed.
"Point taken. Until then, I still have to try and get back on track to find out what's the main motive of Amy's dad. I'm sure it's not just about this whole bank money Amy unknowledgeably took with her when she ran away."
"Well, keep trying. I believe in you, Ji." I encouraged her. She just responded with a smirk.
"I know you do." She confidently said as we both laughed. After a few minutes, someone walked into the kitchen, revealing legacy.
"Morning guys." She said with her sleepy voice.
"Morning Legacy. Give me a few minutes. Breakfast will be ready soon." I said as she happily nodded the very moment she saw what I'm cooking.
"Coffee?" Jieun offered Emily which the latter happily accepted. Jieun smiled as she poured coffee on a new cup and handed it gently to Emily.
Bella by Bella are slowly entering the kitchen and squealed like a bunch of 5 year olds when they saw what I was cooking for them making me chuckle.
"Never knew Y/N can cook. I mean, this is the 1st time she cooked for us." Chloe said.
"Nah. She cooks for you all the time. She just lets me get most of the credits for it. You just never witnessed it first hand cause everytime she's done cooking, she would just grab a bite and head off to class." Jieun shrugged as the girls looked at me with questionable looks. I just shrugged.
"So all those delicious breakfast were mostly made by you? Nice." Aubrey complimented.
"Okay that's the 2nd time Aubrey complimented a Bella aside from Stacie and Chloe. Can someone get her checked to the doctor? She probably hit her head." Amy said, gathering laughs from her fellow Bellas.
"By the way, I'm heading to the mall later. I'm gonna grab some groceries. You girls really need to fill your fridge with healthy breakfast foods and not just a bunch of cereals, junkfoods and ramen."
"Oh that's a great plan! Why don't we all go to the mall and hangout. Besides... It's a Saturday." Chloe suggested. Jieun and I looked at each other and as if a telepathy, we nodded at each other.
"Yeah. That's a great idea." Jieun said, earning yay's from the girls.
"Someone wake Beca up, please." Chloe said.
"That midget never wakes up early." Aubrey rolled her eyes.
"And grumpy Aubrey is back. I'll go wake Shawshank up." The Aussie girl went up stairs, heading towards our room.
In just 3 minutes, we all heard a defeaning scream from upstairs.
"WHAT IN THE f*****g HELL, AMY!!??" Beca's scream echoed throughout the house, making us all laugh. And in the span of 1 minute after her screaming, a half asleep, angry looking Beca Mitchell walked in on the kitchen behind Amy.
"What did Amy do to you now, Brunnie?" I laughed.
"She woke me up through jumping on our bed and landed beside me, throwing me off the bed!!" She grumpily said. There was a bit of silent, dead air where you can basically hear a cricket sound echoing until everyone broke out in laughter. While I just suppressed a laugh.
"Well maybe you should learn to wake up before Amy does if you don't want that to happen again." Aubrey retorted making the brunette glare at her.
"Shut up General Know-it-all."
"Why you little—"
"Maybe Amy should also consider the fact that I'm small and a light weighted human being. Just look at our difference in size!!" The Bellas laughed more. As I just shook my head at the scene unfolding in front of me early in the Saturday morning.
"What's so funny about that!?" She yelled.
"Alright, brunnie. Enough yelling. Sit down and eat your breakfast." I walked up to her and carried her like a child and went to the chair beside me to make her sit in which she didn't complain until the other Bellas laughed again.
"Wow you really are a lightweight." I said as the brunette just slapped my arm and frowned cutely.
"Alright, brunnie. Eat your breakfast. You too, gays— I mean girls." Everyone chuckled and started digging in on the food.
********
Everyone is excited as they hopped in the van with Jieun driving this time cause let's face it. The last time we let Amy drive, everyone almost died. It scared the Bellas shitless, including me and Jieun. I for one is not afraid of dying but Amy's driving seemed to have changed that. -.-
We were caught in a little traffic jam on our way to the mall and as always, the girls just suddenly started singing.
Chloe:
I hopped off the plane at LAX
With a dream and my cardigan
Chloe and CR:
Welcome to the land of fame excess,
Whoa, am I gonna fit in?
Chloe, CR, Amy & Stacie
Jumped in the cab,
Here I am for the first time
Look to my right and I see the Hollywood sign
This is all so crazy
Beca & Aubrey
Everybody seems so famous
The others played a background music instruments using their voices and soon enough Jieun joined them.
My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda home sick
Too much pressure and I'm nervous,
That's when the taxi man turned on the radio
I glanced to everyone and I was taken aback when I see them all looking at me waiting for me to join. Now that I think about it, I never sang except for that riff-off during our first night. Stacie looked like she was gonna pounce on me anytime as they kept singing.
"And the Jay-Z song was on
And the Jay-Z song was on
And the Jay-Z song was on"
They all stopped. Silence filled the van as they wait for me to join. I sighed and just gave in.
Me:
So I put my hands up
They're playing my song,
And the butterflies fly away
Noddin' my head like, yeah
Movin' my hips like, yeah
The Bellas joined in.
"I got my hands up,
They're playin' my song
You know I'm gonna be okay
Yeah, it's a party in the USA
Yeah it's a party in the USA"
"Told you I can make you sing! Ha-ha!!" Chloe confidently said as she pointed at me.
"Whatever ginger. Sit down. The van is still moving." I chuckled as I pat/pushed her head to make her sit.
"You have a great voice." Jessica complimented from behind me.
"Nah. Not that great but thanks, Jess." I smiled. Jessica and Ashley gasped together.
"What?"
"This is the first time someone got our names right!" Ashley said making me chuckle.
"It's not that hard to point out which is which." I shrugged as the girls chuckled at JessLey's genuine and priceless reaction.
The girls kept singing while we wait for the traffic to move. I would occasionally join them in singing making the girls go gay. *Facepalm*
The girls cheered when the traffic finally moved. They kept singing like there's no tomorrow. Until there's a black sedan rushing behind us and hit us hard from the back making the girls scream.
"DAMN IT!"
