SHIFT (mate?)

After mom finished dinner i went to sleep for a couple hours an had the strangest dream that I was a white wolf. I woke up from my nap screaming "Mom somethings happening" next think I know I'm blacking out as my mother is running upstairs to come take me outside for my first shift.
Next time I gain Consciousness I am in a clearing behind my home screaming. "Mom why does it hurt so much" I practically scream at her "I don't know sweetie I've never seen a shift take so long before" she cried.
Hours later I was exhausted completely drained from the pain, finally my body shifted. I was in awe of myself, my wolf was white and I somehow knew I had a purple crescent moon on my head and back. I have purple mittens on my paws and a purple tip tail "honey your eyes they're Rainbow" she looked amazed and terrified. As I shift back the mother is petrified as my one start brown hair is now an unnatural shade of purple.
"Mom I don't know about you but I look awesome" she smiled at me and gave me a hug. "Honey there's something I need to show you and you may hate me for hiding it" she spoke with such fear in her voice "Mom I know I'm adopted there's nothing I could possibly hate you for" a little did I know how wrong I was.
